Iceland: Jokulsarlon lagoon. A “popular” destination on the south coast of the island. As the glacier melts, a lake is formed and icebergs slowly make their way to the ocean, connected by a short river.

I spent several hours hiking through the dunes taking hundreds of photos one afternoon in October. Despite having a cold and it being over 45°C I enjoyed every moment. I hope to return to this beautiful place in the near future.

Early summer sunrise at Jekyll Island, Georgia, USA.
I noticed this beautiful area on the island called “Driftwood Beach”. It was result of a massive hurricane in the 1800’s which changed the land mass of the island. Driftwood Beach was an oak forest prior to the hurricane. The hurricane removed part of the forest leaving Driftwood Beach as gentle reminder of the power and fury which nature bestows upon planet earth.
