I took this photograph in Phuket, Thailand, while casually walking along the oceanfront. This was the only boat moored along the beach for miles in either direction, which made me wonder the story behind the boat. Did something happen to the fisherman who owned it? Why was it the only boat moored for miles on end? I whipped out my camera and snapped a quick shot before moving on, continuing to think about the story behind that lonesome vessel.
Olympiastadion Berlin By : s1000 Added on : Mar 31, 2015
The majestic Olympiastadion of Berlin on a no-game day – originally built by the Nazis for the 1936 Summer Olympics, this stadium still stands as one of the worlds most prestigious venues for sporting and entertainment events and offers close to 75.000 seats.
Today it is the home of the local soccer team Hertha BSC, which I have yet to actually see in action – it seems I prefer having this place all to myself.
