Taken while visiting a friend in the Northern Las Vegas desert. I saw a good picture so I decided to take it. It’s not as desolate as I’d like, but I thought the lines of the mountains and sky looked really good. Nikon D7000, Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G.

I took this image of a sunset on Lake Travis near Austin, Texas. It was one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve seen in the last couple years, and I was lucky to have my camera with me to capture it. Thanks! Nikon D90, Tokina 11-16 f2.8 at 11mm. Shot at f/8, 1/3 second, ISO 200. Post-processing in DXO Optics Pro 6 and Adobe Photoshop CS3.

While studying abroad in Florence, Italy, I took this photo during my fall-break in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland. Lauterbrunnen and the surrounding small towns are some of the most beautiful places I’ve seen in my life; as a photographer, the amount of spots like this for amazing photos were overwhelming.
